That would be a good job for him and he would be good for them.

I am not one of the "good, let it hurt Bama" posters.

I just think that would be a good fit.

never have understood the infatuation with that guy. I'd be much more bummed about McElwain going than Little Kirbie.

This is what happens when you have great young coaches.

I wonder if Fantastic Sams offers a special Executive Job Interview haircut for a premium cost of maybe $12-13.

I wish someone would just hurry up and hire him so we could quit hearing all the rumors about him

Not saying he wont take the job because he might. But a lot of the time these interviews are about getting experience with the interviews. It lets these guys know how to prepare with goals, staff, time frame etc. Just sayin

Did you really think there would be a boring offseason in the state of Alabama?

What has he done at Bama to make you think he is a bad coach? I know people say it is Saban's defense and that is true, but it's not like Kirby has come in and fricked it up. He deserves a head coaching job and Southern Miss is a good place to start.

Bama Coaches: great young talented coaches looking for well deserved opportunities, best of luck.

didn't say for a second he's a bad coach. Just IMO he's just Nick Jr, doing what his daddy tells him to do. I've never sensed for a second he does anything on his own and that would give me pause if I was an AD looking for a HC. He's an indian, not a chief.

Mostly true in this case, but there is a reason.

Both auburn guys left and took a pay cut. Gus took a big cut, and took a job many thought was below his standard.
