After the dust settled, bama was outgained through quarters two through four, 206 to 171.

And 16 to -10 in overtime

This is why I honestly couldn't care less when a talking head or bama fan says they "consistently moved the ball on us" all game.

Bama couldn't score when GIVEN the ball on the LSU 25 KNOWING that they absolutely HAD to score.

When that happens, you don't deserve to win.

We just finished probably 2 of our best defensive performances since the Oregon game considering the caliber of offense in Arkansas and Georgia.

With a month to rest and the best secondary in the country...not worried. Put 8 in the box, shut down Richardson, win the game.

Also, the argument about Bama leaving "all those points" on the field chaps my arse too. They act like they were missing 30 yard FGs. LSU was the team that had the ball inside the 5 yard line twice and failed to score a TD, while Bama never threatened the endzone once.

LSU will win this time by 10 or more. To me, a lot favors LSU. Playing in NO, senior QB, Special teams, aj mc a soph, and Kenny Hilliards emergence are the simple reasons. LSU is a better team than on nov 5.

They missed ONE. Another was blocked and two didn't even reach the goalpost.

I love how they're blaming the kicker for not doing something he's not even capable of doing. This would be like blaming a loss on Jefferson for not throwing for 300 yards.

Wouldn't that be (based on your numbers)

Alabama: 295
LSU: 239

?

Outgained is obvious outgained. Maybe that's where they get it.

Add in overtime and Alabama still outgained. Where did the numbers come from? They just magically appear?

To say Alabama didn't move the ball on LSU is moronic.

Continuing to use LOGIC...

LSU 9
Bama 6

Outscored is obvious outscored. Maybe that's where us "silly" LSU fans get the idea we WON the game on Nov. 5th.

Did I say anything about not being outgained?

Funny. I thought this was football and these two statements were related. My bad.
