i read what VOR posted and if true, makes sense albeit dumb on the owners part but wondering if there was any substantiated talk on the subject.

All I know is that there is/are ownership group(s) in play. I also think Stern wants to leave Paul decision/trade to purchaser. Problem is the screwed up timing. Decisions have to be made now, IMO

There is no decision to be made by an owner. Paul is offered the max deal already and is declining.

So why doesn't the "prospective owner" come out and say he wants to back Demps?

Also, does anyone know what the value of the Hornets is said to be?

I'm not trying to flame here, but haven't you been talking about ownership groups for over a year now?

NBA paid 300 million i think. I would imagine they would want that amount or damn near close imo.

Yo, Holmes, Stern's thinking isn't my thinking. Maybe he wants the new owner to make whatever trade is done

VOR has been talking about thsi shite forever and nothing has ever come from it. es, I'm sure tehre are ownership groups out there and yes, they are eventually going to come out.

So, hear it here from me too:

Hornets will be sold from the NBA to a new owner. My sources tell me this is going to happen sometime in the coming weeks, months.

The league has been hoping to get $350 million for them.

It may not be down to one yet, it's possible there are still competing bids. It's also possible for the deal to fall through until it's signed so Stern kind of has a duty to maintain the value. If this crop of buyers fell through would the next buyers in line try and pay less for a lesser on court product?

Well, I'm in college, so I only have about 3K to my name.

That puts us at $224,994,000 left to go. Maybe I should ask the OT ballers
