SIAP and I'm fine with the rematch...But if Ford had stayed in bounds scored a TD and we win 12-6 does that change the scenario. Does that score make Bama look worse? Would a TD rather than a FG change things?

Nope, it's still a 1 possession overtime win.

Doubtful IMO. Now if RR catches that TD pass at the end of the half, and it's 13-6 in regulation, that might have changed some minds.

The fact that it was in OT keeps it the same. MM on 104.5 yesterday talked about all the things that need to happen for Okie St to be in

No, the fact that it was OT would still be mentioned over and over again on ESPN.

If we had a few more seconds on the clock before half we would have scored a touch down as well, instead of a field goal. I think it changes things.

I thought of this, but it wouldn't have changed anything. I just wanted it to happen so we could have 1 TD to their 0

Theoretically could be 2 possessions, I guess.

Since they didn't lose the game but just ran out of time, the TD wouldn't count.
