Has anyone else with season tickets noticed how miserable the person who is in-charge of the replay system in the dome is? Any controversial call is never replayed, such as all of the personal foul penalty's on Monday. Also, all of the coach's challenges are not played for the fans while the official is in the booth reviewing the play. Why is it that I need to go home from a game and re-watch it on a recorded telecast to catch all of the plays and see replays?

When I was there Monday night, I was comparing it to the nutless replay guys for Tiger Stadium that do the same thing. Controversial play? Here's another loud commercial for you!

If you watch other primetime games (one in Baltimore if I remember correctly) you can hear the crowd's outroar when they replay plays that are being challenged. If anything - I think that maybe the personal foul penalty's are not replayed due to an NFL policy - If they can replay it on MNF, why can't they in the dome?

I have been to games in chicago, houston, and miami. It's the same everywhere. They might play a replay right after a play, but once the red flag goes down; no replays are shown.

I bet they have a extremely strict policy regarding controversal calls in the nfl.

I've always said the same thing. I'm not a season ticket holder but I have attended at least 2 games a year for the past 10 years or so and it seems like they used to play alot more replays than now.

Also, it is DEFINITELY TIME for and upgrade in the Superdome's Video Screens. I'm not saying we need a JerryWorld mammoth or anything, but we should at least have something twice the size of what we have... or at least a wider screen. There are numerous stadiums throughout the NFL that trump our video boards in a large way. Mercedes-Benz needs to step up.

I realize that they are great High Def wise... that I'll give them, but they seem like they could be a little bigger.

if it wasn't for the huge sponsor logos next to the TVs, the dome could have some nice sized TVs. putting "mercedes benz superdome" above the screen and sponsor logos doesn't help the case of expanding the screen anytime soon.

This is the strangest qualification given the question. It seems to have absolutely zero relevance. Congrats?

Every challenge I get out my phone and check here and usually it's pretty spot on.

Of course, but what does it have to do with having an opinion on the person in charge of replays in the Dome?

I don't have any inside secrets or information, BUT I have heard some of the WWL guys mention, more than once, that the NFL has some guidelines on replays and how often they are replayed in certain situations.

I am almost positive that they cannot show replays on the screen DURING a challenge. Makes sense...you don't want the officials being distracted when they only have 90 seconds.
