Have the bucks started chasing in your area?

Spent all of last week in the box stand where i hunt in St. Helena Parish. I saw no movement at all. Usually, in that area, mid-December is prime time for some rutting action.
Have the Bucks started chasing/rutting in your area? Lets see if we can get a pretty cool list going.

The rut was on at the camp in Columbia, La.
Dad shot a nice doe that was being chased by a spike.
So we have a dead doe and a very frustrated cowhorn running around.

I don't think they are chasing by my place in Macon ms., but it shouldn't be long now.

Nope. The rut where I hunt south AL, the bucks don't start chasing good until early to mid January

I hunt in area 2 and the rut usually starts the week before Thanksgiving and goes on until a week or two after. I have not seen any sign of the rut so far though.

Caddo parish here...and heck yes. Since last friday, my family has seen 13+ bucks, most chasing does/coming to scent or calls.
It's definitely on here. Hope it lasts another week.

Usually yes......this week of cooler weather will get it moving
Typically, we see the rut from the week before Christmas to as late as just before Jan. 1st.

Started chasing a little this past weekend South of Shreveport.
Won't be until late January/early February in Area 6.

Oddly enough, yes. We hunt S Tx. Saw 2 fights over the weekend and the younger bucks (4 yr olds) are chasing/smelling every doe they can get close to.
No sign of the mature deer yet so the rut is still a ways off.

Yep then it's on like Donkey Kong until about Jan 5 and you see a little bit of cruising the week before and after that... I have seen a couple small bucks chasing though. Nothing to get me excited yet though.

I hunt area 4 and 5. Area 5 is closer to Christmas before they start rutting and Area 4 should start soon but with this rain I cant get to my stand. I will prolly try tomorrow.

Where in area 4? We are in a new lease by Jones and haven't seen any rut activity yet. I've heard it starts around Christmas up there, but don't have any first hand experience.
