How embarrassing is the Independence Bowl now?

They are projecting Wyoming and Wake Forest. Neither one of these teams are going to travel for this horrible game. When they put that lady in charge she ruined everything. The last SEC Big 12 was a sellout with Georgia and Texas AM. The game last year with Air Force and GT was a complete joke. Maybe 20k if that there. They should have just shelled out a little more money and kept the Big 12 and SEC. I wonder how long this bowl will be around now?

lsu used to put a lot of asses in those seats in the late 90s. I still remember freezing my but off during the ND game

Yes I am mad. A use to be decent bowl is now a horrible one that wont last another 2 years.

Wyoming vs Wake Forrest. I cannot think of a worse bowl match up this year.

I used to go every year. When they let the tie in with the Big 12 vs SEC go, that was the worst mistake they ever made. It's really become a crapfest.

La Tech also put so fans in the stands for Indy... They need package themselves with CUSA and La Tech against a BCS conference if they want any type of future.

I go with my dad every year. We usually leave around halftime or a little after, depending on the weather and score. The matchups suck now but its still college football and an excuse to get away and drink some beers for a while.

Worst Auburn bowl game ever? I vote '96 Independence Bowl vs Army. Army misses the tying field goal with :30 left in the game. Auburn gave up 20+ points in the fourth quarter to almost piss it away. I hope Ole Miss hires Tiny Terry.......

Went with my family, and they wanted to leave at the beginning of the 4th. Still can't believe Army came back
