Look, just because many fans want OSU/VT does not mean they fear Bama

Personally, I'd like too see another fight like that. It was truly epic in my eyes, and I like our chances in a rematch. But it would be extremely satisfying to post a 40+ point victory on OSU.

I think you speak for yourself. Most fans argueing against Bama are scared panzies. I think it is clear as day that we are the two best teams. I think playing in a dome would help us more due to our speed.

I still cannot see the voters putting in 2 sec teams.

Rematch is a lose/lose for Bama. They win, it's tarnished. They lose, it's total humiliation.

LSU fan base is so stupid sometimes.

The gumps have nothing to lose

we have to beat them twice is retarded. anyone who is in favor of that is notnan LSU fan.

Oh and can we be sure that if LSU wins they won't want another rematch.

in fact I hear Kentucky wants a rematch of their whole season.

We went on the road in the "Game Of The Century" and won. Nothing should diminish that.

At worst split title IMO.....And yes while most of us won't give a shite about an AP title....it will piss the gumps off so I am all for it.

Maybe I do, but I think many just want the easier road to a 'ship. I'm glad the players and Miles don't think like that, but I don't begrudge the fans for it.

If it is Bama, the buildup will be electrifying. If it is someone else, it will be like the anticipation of a nice steak dinner, just served up on a platter, waiting to be devoured.

Exactly - I would prefer PAC12 because -
2003 - Big 12
2007 - Big 10
2011 - PAC12/ACC

We have shown that we can beat Bama at Bama. When LSU wins again over Bama - other teams would start the " we could have given a better game and beaten LSU".

When we beat a new team - it reinforces the view that LSU is a dominant Champ this year.

Yeah. And then the "Saban can't win two AP titles" talk can start.

This is the only thing I can think of that takes Bama out. But with OSU already ahead of Bama in the computers, I think they have a pretty good chance. I don't think VT stands a chance at all. It'll be either Bama or OSU.

This is true. No LSU fan is afraid of Bama. I know LSU would win that game and so does every other LSU fan. But we've already beat bama. Bring on the next guy. OSU is already #2 in the computers eyes. And I think there will be a growing sentiment among the human voters over the next 2 weeks to make sure there is no rematch.

I hadn't thought of it that way. It Is an interesting point. But everything I read and hear in the sports media is that LSU and Bama are the clear #1 and #2, so I doubt that viewpoint would prevail, anyway. Some shithead west coast homers may try to sell that garbage, but I doing think very many people will buy it.

Afraid of Bama? Not so much. Want to beat yet another top 3 team to add to our collection? Absolutely! We already went into Bama's house and made them and their coach quit. What more do we need to prove?

Of course Bama wants a rematch. They lost.

This was why I was against the rematch the last time (06 OSU-Mich). And I've felt the same way about before we played Bama the first time, win or lose.

BTW, what is LSU's record in the Dome? I've been trying to find it. Have we ever lost there?

I know they got crushed in 1981 by Tulane 48-7.

Rematches are for losers. Plain and simple. It's truly sad to see Alabama cry about deserving won.

Had your shot, take it like a man.

Nope, we jsut beat them already. So as I asked already in another thead, if Bama does get the rematch and they win do we play a third game to determine who wins the set?
