What's next for the Saints after the Drew Brees era is over?

How many more years do you think Brees has playing at such a high level? Where do you see the Saints heading after this golden era is over?

Has the culture within the Saints organization changed enough that they are no longer content being a mediocre team and they try to rebuild the team strongly after Brees is done, such that they still can compete for division titles almost every year? Will they try to go after a high profile coach if Payton leaves too after Brees retires? Can the Saints become a perennial playoff team in the NFC that is always well respected in the league?

We need to focus on making the defense as strong as we can before brees retires because we won't have this offense that can score at will without him

I'd say they will be something similar to the Colts this yr, except with a worse defense.

I like alters -- bring Truman back and you can start twice as many of your great threads such as:

“Packers not going to the super bowl

This team is coasting on penalties and such. If they played NOLA today, it might get ugly for them“

trying another route I see.

No one cares if "Kafka" doesn't enjoy their posts.

you are so lame it's almost sad.

Yet here you are defending yourself.

so youve never RAed anyone?

Or gone to the Help Board with an alter alert?

The fact you feel the need to "defend yourself" (you actually haven't denied anything, just throwing out poorly crafted insults) over something so innocuous really speaks to what a pathetic loser you must be. It's really late, have at it...I know you love the last word

Not worried.

Payton and Loomis will make a big move to get a top quality QB in the next 2 years.

If you thought Payton loved him some WRs, wait until they start looking at QBs. This team will get what it wants when its ready.

2-3 years from now he's on our roster. That should give him a few years on the bench to learn from one of the best to ever play the game.

By the time Drew retires, we will have a new quarter back named Braylen Brees (?)
and Bowen will be in the bull-pen !!!!!
