Man City literally has no shot to make the knockout round now.

United will qualify.

Chelsea have a decent chance.

Man City need to beat FCB and Villareal to wake up against Cavani and co. Doubtful

I'm not really all that upset that City didn't move through. Honestly, I just want to win the Premier League. I don't care about anything else this season.

I think it was good for the club to get some Champions League experience, even though they did underachieve. They'll come back next year with a better team and with a better mindset.

This club needs to focus on finishing atop the Premier League. If they happen to win the Carling Cup or the FA Cup along the way, that's cool too. Not all too concerned with the Europa Cup, although I'm sure City will advance very far in that IF they trot out their best squad.

City can still do great things this year. We just need to win a trophy for a 2nd straight year, hopefully the one our fans want the most.

They should advance very far with their B squad. The problem is more matches in Europa than the UCL and having to play in a place like fricking Transylvannia in February. City would have a better chance to win the EPL if they had advanced.

They will still probably win it though. They have looked great in the league.

ManU is going to go through a rough patch losing Vidic and having no Chicharito and Vidic.

To win the Premier League would be a huge step. They underachieved to a degree but Napoli is certainly no Basel either. No one else had to deal with a 3rd strongest team anywhere near as good.

Yeah Napoli really forced Man City to play their game both matches.

I've been rooting for Napoli since the beginning in the CL thinking they had a shot to make a little run until I saw they drew Man City and Bayern (and Villarreal before it was obvious they're not much without Rossi, Valero and Cazorla). Still can't believe Napoli made it through, though! Hope the next draw will be kinder but I'm guessing Real or Barca.

And props to Serie A for advancing all three of their teams. For as much as they're criticized, they've performed very well.
