He's targeting LSU O Coord Greg Studwara. SBB is pretty reliable imo. Here's the story: SportsbyBrooks
Mentions adding Herbstreit to the staff as well.

quote:

Meyer also aims to add Chris Spielman, Kirk Herbstreit, current North Carolina State linebackers coach Jon Tenuta and current LSU offensive line coach Greg Studwara to his Ohio State staff.
Studwara was offensive line coach for Bowling Green when Meyer was the head coach of the Falcons in 2001 and 2002. One source indicated Studwara is being considered by Meyer as possible offensive coordinator for the Buckeyes.

Studrawa stayed at BG when Meyer left. He was promoted from OL coach to OC.

Kirk Herbstreit,

If so, do we get to watch Jesse Palmer or Pollack on Gameday?

Herbstreit would make one HELL of a recruiter. The kids already know him better than any coach that will be recruiting them.

Count me in this camp. Herbie's got the best job in college football and he's gonna leave it to go be a QB coach? No chance.

also, didn't he just move his family from Columbus because of the way they were being treated there? Just absolutely zero chance of this. I will eat crow if I'm wrong, but I'm not and I won't have to.

I also heard him go on and on about how great his job currently is and how much he loves it on the radio last week.

5% chance at best.

I thought the same thing. Besides not even being a coach, why would he chose to go back after being ran out of town a year ago?

I'm curious to see what LSU does with Krags and Studs contracts this year after the season.

Surprised nobody has brought up the greatest passing game coordinator of all time yet.

Agreed, I am sure he makes significantly more money at his current job.
