Federer is almost unbeatable on indoor courts, similar to Nadal on clay. If only there were an indoor major.....:sigh:

I watched it. Pleasure to watch Roger tear Nadal a new a-hole, instead of the other way around.

That was a nice arse kick'in. And the announcers had it right...the history of the rivalry between the two isn't very truthful as tennis is a game where surface nowadays almost means everything. If Fed played Nadal indoors as many times as they have played on clay, Fed would own Nadal.

All that being said, Nadal is playing some of his worst tennis ever of late. When Federer was in his "prime" as Nadal currently is, I don't remember Federer being in the funk that Nadal currently is.

Novak has been giving them both all they can handle.

Fed has had some success and his losses, for the most part, were very close, tough losses.

Rafa on the other hand has been getting demoralized by Novak. I think the decline in raga's game has alot to do with his confidence.

Plus, surface is a big factor.

Pistol Pete has the best serve of all time. And I would argue Pistol Pete is the best (of the greats) in the category of pure athleticism. I could totally have seen Pistol Pete as an NFL Free Safety.

I don't think he was the best of all time. But he's obviously right in the mix.

Yes, because Pete Sampras was a better athlete than Rafael Nadal is.

Or Gael Monfils.

Or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Or David Ferrer.

Or Fernando Verdasco.
