It seems the university is taking the fans for granted. They know that fans will come to the game no matter how inconvenient they make it for them.

Lots on both sides of Ag Center are closed. So is the one next to Ag Extension (on the right as you enter through the south gates). Unbelievable! People were really upset.

People will just start tailgating further out. I usually do the law school building. More people are showing up out that way this year.

I've been tailgating in the lot at Highland and Stadium in front of Parker Coliseum for 10 years and was royally pi$$ed when we got here Sat morning. I leave my home in central MS at 5am only to find barricades and rent-a-cops at every entrance to these lots. You could only enter with a "4-H Tailgate Pass". We had to scramble to find a couple of sites further down Stadium by the lakes. Of course, then I was hearing grumblings from people down there who showed up grumbling about how people were in 'their' spots.

The part that made no sense was that the lot remained 80-90% empty the entire day. Really? How many people were they expecting to show up for a 4-H tailgate to completely close a parking lot that holds several hundred cars.

Well the ag center owns the lot and 4-H is in their umbrella. I think they can do whatever the frick they want to do.

Ag Center is a separate entity on the LSU campus. pull the campus charter and verify it for yourself. 4-H is in the middle of their fundraising drive and the Ag center gave them their lot.

Who gives a shite. Such a bullshite move by LSU to close one of the biggest free lots on gameday. Also, I can't remember them ever doing this before.
