Wild duck gumbo and stock

Since duck season is about to start, I'm already making plans for next week to make a duck and andouille gumbo and am wondering what everyone uses for a stock in a wild duck gumbo?
Has anyone used wild roasted duck bones to make a stock or will this be too strong of a flavor? I've never tried it so I'm not sure.

Might would be good. You can always go with a good ole chicken stock if you want.

Last few times I've smoked the ducks and used the bones in the pot w the chicken stock. Makes for a good gumbo.

Thanks for the suggestions. I hope to be cooking my gumbo next week.
