IMO. I think they let the boys play without making/not making any bad calls to affect the outcome. I was rather concerned about this going into the game. It's nice to see a game played where the refs are a nonfactor. Hardly noticed them at all.

I think you are mostly right, the facemask in OT was missed though...

I tend to agree and the only play that really stood out to me was the late hit on Lee during the 1st series of the game. Lee had already completed his follow through when he was unloaded on.

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised.

I admit I nearly choked when I saw it was that bug-eyed meth-head-looking SOB reffing the game.

Bama had a couple of missed calls, but no game changing plays. I was concerned about the face mask call we had when the back of the helmet was called, but if the announcers were connect, any part of the helmet come into play with leverage, it can be called. But, as with Brad Wing's TD called back for insignificant taunting, LSU always seems to get calls against them that were not called in the many other games where worse were committed.

Pleasantly surprised as well. The only complaint I have is Bama's OL holding all night and not getting called but that was expected

Pretty clean, though there were 2 late hits out of bounds by Alabama that I thought could have been called.

I thought Bama got away with some cheap hits....late hit on Lee and some out of bounds hits that all went for no calls. Other than that, it was pretty evenly called.

Agree. When I saw cock-eyed Joe I thought we were in trouble. They let the boys play. I give them credit.

We did get away with an interference call that could've been called, but it was close enough to be a no call. They did a good job.

3 late hits OOB on bama were not called Fluker holding Mingo all night..
