We are going to kill them. I watched the Bama game last night, I was not impressed as I was in other weeks.

The way LSU played yesterday, that was the best LSU team I have ever seen.

I am not saying the game is a lock, but if LSU brings that intensity again, we win by 21.

Same here, but they looked flat, like we did in a couple games where I think we did not feel challenged. I wondered if that was what was going on for them.

if you stop tr you have a good chance of beating them. Mccaron has not impressed me.

TR will not be shut down, Just like our running game will not be shut down.. But I think our D will do a solid job of containing him.

The point is TR can get his runs just like Geno Smith got his throws - but the D can still prevent the points.

LSU has the advantage of having capable CBs who can lock up receivers , this makes it easy to concentrate on TR.

So when he is unable to break free each time and he is (by probability) bound to get stuffed now and then , they are forced to punt because the pass is not there.

The issue here is whether the pass opens up the game for the LSU Offense.

In which case it is an easy 10 point win for LSU in spite of TR getting his yards.

i had a 50/50 feeling going into bammer game till last night, we have edge in two out of three phases of the game, and if our offense brings their A game and i know they will we will leave victorious

Oh, they will. Are you kidding me? This team is going to be so hyped up - but it just makes them better. They know how to focus that aggression.

Look at the 3rd quarter against Auburn. I was really worried that an Auburn player was going to get decapitated. It spread through the whole team.

I can't wait to see LSU come out of the tunnel in Bryant-Denny.

LSU 31
Alabama 17

There can be good wins, without being blowouts ,between two good teams.

The jitters won't go away because this is college football and TT/OU Wisc/MSU type games will happen.

That being said, the trend is good and adversity seems to only strengthen this LSU team.

I was surprised to see Bama playing so flat at home. It was a thing of beauty. And esp to see UT holding their own for an entire half. I have no illusions that we'll see THAT Bama team on Nov 5, but they are by no means the specimens of perfection the media have been slobbering over for the whole season. And the way LSU played, without missing a beat--hats off to Brooks and Hilliard for stepping up. I am psyched for Nov 5!

Neither will we be without our 3 starters!

Besides if you have watched Bama play, Mccarron can pass(literally and figuratively) as a second string QB , which satisfies the LSU win conditions

Bama outscored Tenn 31-0 in second half and Tenn had no first downs. That is impressive.

What is impressive is not letting UT get a lead on us and being tied with them at the half.

What is impressive is sacking the frick out of the opponents QB and preventing your QB from getting touched.

aaah screw it - I am not going to get into a pissing match about Bama.

This LSU team is going to win(maybe stomp them) and that's that!

I only watched a little of the game but, dont gauge Bama by what u saw last night... and come nov. 5th, they will be up... that being said, I have been saying we have the advantage
better qb/s
better special teams (punt)
better secondary
and I am not saying we shut TS down, but it will be his least productive game of the season
