pretty tasty. The raspberry and blueberry sauces paired with them was very complimentary. While not my favorite, it lived up to the hype it's received here. I still love the diablo shrimp more but it was good.

Love 'em. It's been one of the things there that is always consistently good every time.

They probably come frozen. I used to be a huge fan of the duck quesadilla's at La Caretta before my friend who worked there told me they came frozen and they just microwaved them.

P'man, I'm saying this as a friend...I think you should start adding some cream and sugar in your coffee.

I guess I just don't get it

One instant you're a big fan and then as soon as someone tells you that they're frozen and microwaved you don't like them?

That makes no sense

I was dissapointed when I found out they weren't fresh or made in house. They were still good, but they just weren't the same to me.

I've never had the coyote blues duck quesadillas. I'm not saying they aren't fresh. The point I was trying to make failed.

I don't think Coyote has any affiliation with Carreta's so I'm not sure why you would want to make the assumption

Maybe they' microwaved. But you liked them so who cares?

Coyote Blues' kitchen does plenty of scratch cooking; it is unfair to compare them to Carreta's. The tortillas are made onsite, the crepes for the crab enchiladas are made in house. So are the tamales...they're also using lots of LA seafood whenever possible.
