LSU/Bama Nov. 5 - I'd love a tie.

This is just for the fun of fantastical speculation. If fanciful hypotheticals aren't your thing, just quit now.
Nobody necessarily wants a rematch in the NC game. But what if the first matchup were undecided? If the Nov. 5 Clash of Titans game is called as a tie late in the 2nd half due to inclement weather (imagine the WV/Marshall game earlier this year, only knotted in a tie), the SEC could increase its payday by sneaking both teams into the NC game. Oh what a pitiful scene that could be. Imagine an undefeated Stanford, Wisconsin, Boise and Oklahoma crying foul as LSU and Bama settle their score on the biggest of stages. Maybe that uproar would be big enough to force a playoff once and for all.
Surely the fans wanting instant gratification and closure on Nov. 5 would be furious. And the wait from Nov. 5 to Jan 9 would be excruciating. But the ensuing chaos would be too much fun. Oh if only I had the power to conjure up some thunder and lightning myself.

If LSU wins, hell no I don't want a rematch. If Bama sneaks out a close one at home, a rematch would be sports mecca for me. I can't even fathom what LSU vs Bama for the National Championship would be like inside the Superdome. The whole week would be insane, and there's a good chance central lockup in NOLA would be overflowing with LSU and Bama fans.

One would wind up winning the SEC due to long series of tie breakers.
That team would go on to the ship alone. I do not believe you would see 2 SEC teams play for it all.

If it's unrelenting inclement weather, I don't see how the rules could avoid it. I'm sure they'd make every effort to reschedule. I don't know how that'd be possible. In my hypothetical scenario, it's entirely out of the question.
