...outweigh the negatives.

Teams have to gameplan for two QBs who are running different plays. It puts a tremendous mental strain on opposing coaches and players to have no idea what is coming or whom it's coming from. This is being overlooked by most of the morons on this board.

In addition I think the people who are freaking out need to consider a few things:

1. Lee is the starter and unless he royal screws the pooch, he will remain so.

2. We are going to need Jefferson against Bama FOR SURE. His skill set will give their scheme problems, just like it did last year.

3. Both Qbs are seniors.

4. Both Qbs seem to have improved since the arrival of Krags.

Now please STFU and quit acting like a bunch of nancies. I'm pretty sure most people who read this board are sick of all of your moronic ravings. Learn to settle down and trust that you aren't the one qualified to evaluate the situation and leave it to the grown-ups

Exactly what was it that you felt necessitated another post about this topic? Seems like this shite had pretty much settled down ... guess maybe you just like to stir it up again?

Back at you. and NO it hasn't really died down. This shouldn't stir anything up. If anything, this should address the topic in a rational manner. I know its a new concept but I think we shouldn't fear a similar topic as long as the content is substanitive

I don't think I've seen a single complaint today about the way that Miles has managed the QBs ... so the only reason to start this post is to stir it up again.

So you're insinuating that this is old hat? Which part? The part about needing Jefferson against Bama? I'm pretty sure that isn't discussed here ever.

Well the grown-ups recruited RP instead of McCoy, thought Malveto was a good idea, kept giving us Crowton, and would have never started Lee. So your opinion is as beneficial as, well it's not actually

Ok, so am I the only one that realizes that defenses can figure out what JJ will do? They will stack the box and if he can complete a pass then great, but good defenses will not allow the option. We are better off with what Lee brings, namely play action.

I guess thats the only reason YOU might believe a thread like this can be started but I wanted to really drive these points home. The idiotic "QB controversy" threads are going to keep coming back and you damn well know it. This is a thoughtful post, arriving on the heels of a well managed QB situation. I really loved the bootleg play that JJ was used for.

I thought JJ's throws look sharper and crisper.

Sure they will ... right after either Lee or Jefferson make a major mistake. So bringing up the topic when everyone is basically content is pointless.

How many games have the grown ups won?
What's the winning percentage?
How many times have the teams been ranked?
When if ever will you learn to think?

But don't quit posting. You can always serve as a vivid example of constant FAIL.

This is such a stupid argument to make. The opposite is also true. Our O line and skill players have to learn two different types of play calling, so they can't concentrate on one and perfect it.

Why so Bama can stack the box and stop the run d/t Jeffersons inability to pass.

WTH hell does this have to do with who plays. Dumb arse reason!!!

Lee has and it has shown. How can you make this argument in Jeffersons limited action so far.

Oh you left out the best excuse. " we need JJ in the redzone to confuse the defense." even though JL is 8th in the nation in red zone efficiency.

This argument is old and I am tired of it Dumbasses on both sides just need to leave it alone!!!

So? The defenses have figured out that LSU likes to run a lot and they are still getting beat. I'm assuming here that you never played football. Knowing and stopping are different.

They will stack the box

Like they do now?

quote:

he can complete a pass then great, but good defenses will not allow the option.

Like they stopped it yestrday? For either QB?

We are better off with what Lee brings, namely play action.

That's it? That's all the diversity you want in the offense? But...but...but.... what if the defense figures it out?

Please stick to Game Boy.

The ability to throw it down field seems to be working a whole lot better with Lee than JJ last year.

Relax. They are smarter than you are. But then who isn't?

Great point. I mean he hasn't completed any passes this year has he?

Experience? Ask Florida what playing inexperienced QB's will do for you.
