I was kind of bored in class, so I thought I would do some random math on CLMs salary. The last time I saw it, his salary was around 3.8 mil a year. Im not sure if it has changed since the last time I saw it, but this will be enough for some perspective I guess. I dont know what kind of bonuses he receives, but I was just going off that 3.8. I round up to the nearest dollar, and sorry in advance if the math doesnt add up perfectly.

Per year - $3,800,000
Per month (also per game if LSU plays 12 games) - $316,667
Per week - $73,077
Per day - $10,411
Per hour -$434
Per minute - $7
Per second - a little over 10 cents
Per game (if team gets to 14 games) - $271,429

Now Im bored again...STATS

Oh and I thought I would add a boo in this thread...everyones doin it

Well I figured if it wasnt a thread about booing players, or players being pissed about people booing players, then it couldnt be too dumb...right?

Wow. Where to begin.

You did not explain and lay out most of your assumptions, so I am assuming you are either paying him for a 40 hour work week OR for every minute and second of every day, whether sleeping, vacation, etc. Since you did not specify, and you're clearly wrong either way, here goes.

There are 31,536,000 seconds in a standard calendar year of 365 days. So, $3.8m would be a smidge over 12 cents per second.

In a 2000 hour work year (figuring a 40 hour week, 50 weeks out of the year, 2 weeks vacation - and yes, I know that football coaches average 50 to 60 or even more hours per week) - then you're talking 7.2 million work seconds. This is over 52 cents per work second.

I did not calculate any of your other errors because it would be a continuing waste of time.

Please keep studying. Please do not design any device I may use in the future that may kill me or any mode of tranportation for me or my family. Likewise for any buildings I may live or work in.

ETA: I see you changed your per second from 1 cent to "a little over" 10 cents. Despite that being still 20 percent off, you're back in the ballpark. Many of your other 24/7 numbers appear to be accurate, by the way. Sorry for being harsh.

Calm it down there buddy, just punched in some easy numbers for a little perspective. And 12 cents is a "little" over 10 cents now isnt it

Oh and Im in architecture at LSU, so i hope you're in one of my buildings one day
