Seams that we see him less and less each year.
They don't make him roar like Mike V did.
Would like to see plexiglass sides on his trailer so he is more visible.

I agree....they need to whip him into a frenzy and place him right in the middle of the opposing teams tunnel.

I'm sure the PETA freaks would love that.

I agree, if auburn can train, not one but 3, wild eagles-who by the way were not born in captivity & came to them in poor health- to fly around a stadium and land at midfield, you would think LSU could get a tiger in a trailer 6 or 7 times a year.

This. Mascots are mascots. Of course they're animals, but they are treated so well and only have one duty: to show up for the game once a week. It would be different if he was sick or something, but he just doesn't want to. Time to find a wild tiger.

Ok let me spell it out...

How can we get Mike the Tiger more envolved in footaball games? How can we get him on the field? Can we train him to Roar like we did with Mike V?
He is the best mascott in the country, how can we show him off?

I say let him loose on the opponents side line. The Auburn game. That would be some action.

i think it would be cool to unleash a baby goat around the 50 so he could chase it down for dinner.

As for Mike, a taser to his tiger taint ought to do the trick.

Let's think about what you just said... an eagle that is 2'7", 6'9" wingspan, and 10 lbs vs. a 10' 500lb Tiger... Now which one would seem easier to control?

I understand the size difference between a tiger and an eagle but elephants can be trained to do tricks so why can't a tiger be trained to walk into a cage? Not like we're asking him to ride a unicycle.

According to a recent article in the Advocate, his handlers have never heard him roar. They have been trying several new techniques to get him to load in the trailer but apparently, they aren't working too well. He made it to 6 games last year, as I recall. He won't make that many this year.
