Ben and Jerry's New Flavor - Schweddy Balls

Not sure if this is F&D or OT. Actually sounds like a good combo.

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Ben & Jerry's is unveiling a new flavor, and it doesn't sound too tasty.
"Schweddy Balls" is an homage to an old "Saturday Night Live" skit featuring Alec Baldwin as bakery owner Pete Schweddy, whose unique holiday offerings included something called "Schweddy Balls."
Sean Greenwood, a spokesman for the Vermont ice cream maker, said Thursday that the company isn't worried about offending people with the name. He says one of the company's principles is to do fun things and that it fits in with that, just as it did with previous flavors like Karmel Sutra and Half Baked.
The new flavor is available at scoop shops and supermarkets. It consists of vanilla ice cream, rum, fudge-covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls.

I think you hit the trifecta of Droppings, OT, F&D, and Poli all at the same time. OT for the name of the product, F&D for the description of the ingredients, Poli for the inclusion of the Bat shite crazy of the actor, and the socialist/communist tendencies of the founders of B&J ice cream.

Well said Cit... And while I love the skit on SNL, I'm still waiting for that worthless POS Baldwin to leave the country as promised when Bush was elected 2nd time.

I was in the Pittsburgh airport yesterday getting ice cream at the B&J concession. Schweddy Balls was right there in the freezer and as I'm waiting for the guy to give me my ice cream, this cute twenty something asian girl is looking at the selections, asks about that one, the guy says "Yes, that's a new flavor, Schweddy Balls...", to which she replies in a heavy accent, "Schweddy balls?". I had to turn away, it was too much.

I made it a point to never give money to that fruit cake of a company, but this shite sounds good. I may have to get some of it this weekend.

I was going to add Streisand, myself. I've been so disappointed that she and Baldwin didn't move. Only flavor of B&J's that I eat is Heath Bar Crunch, but it's been a long time.
