According to BearsTruth.com’s Brian Ethridge, Texas A&M will be allowed to go to the Southeastern Conference as a deal has been reached between the remaining nine members of the Big 12 that will remove the specter of a potential lawsuit.

quote:

According to Ethridge, although it is unlikely that a waiver will ever be signed by all remaining members of the Big 12, the institutions are willing to be party to a gentlemen’s agreement so long as the SEC does not attempt to or agree to poach another school from the Big 12.

I think this is a free article.

This is high stakes poker with millions of dollars on the line, gentleman's agreements do not exist. I doubt anyone agreed to anything like that unless it was written in stone.

Arkansas should go to the Big 12. Then they should pick up Boise State and BYU.

Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Iowa State, BYU, Boise State.

Boom. That's a solid conference.

1. It's prob a bullshite rumor.
2. Missouri would be retarded to agree to that unless they were certain that the SEC didn't want them. I still think TX-OU-OSU-TXTECH go to the PAC eventually. Missouri is gonna be screwed.

If this happened the Big XII would buckle and therefore any agreements the SEC made would be null and void. Ergo, Missouri could be invited to the SEC

Rudder and Gates were pretty awesome, Rudder also an Ag desegregated the school, added women and paved the way for it to grow into what it is today, also he was a Normandy hero. Look up Rudder's Rangers. Gates helped us acheive Teir 1 Status and AAU membership.

The Big what ever is stupid if they don't think other conferences don't smell blood in the water. Sure go ahead and agree with the SEC not to poach anymore teams. What are they going to do when the Big 10 and Pac 12 come sniffing around?

Bottlom line for the Big12-3.... the sharks are circling.

On a side note, can we do away with conference names that include numbers, makes it easier to keep up with which is which, thanks.

The Big 12 is done. All that is left is for the sharks to scoop up the tastiest pieces.
