I don't know, but there have been instances of players on the practice field being struck.

No because there are lightening delays.

No, but Lee Corso's car was struck by lightning when LSU traveled to play Va Tech.

I am pretty sure that I heard the announces yesterday say it was the first time during a game AND also a first time for evacuating a stadium

Could have heard wrong though.

I think they were specifically talking about it being the first time at Notre Dame.

Did the LSU/ Oregon State game back in a few years ago get delayed bc of the storm/lightning?

remember being in the student section and having the game delay for about 30-45 minutes.

Yeah, but you kinda are.

I didn't say it didnt matter, or that i wanted anyone to be struck because they didnt shut it down.

The question was, does anyone know of it ever happening.

a La Tech game at TS got delayed for hours. I think I was one of only about 20,000 that stayed that night. It was over around midnight.

And yes, the OSU game was the infamous streaker game during the heaviest part of the storm. I can still see all those fat out of shape cops unable to catch him for a long time.
