St Landry cops are the worst. I duck hunt in St. Landry parish and once got a ticket for going 58 in a 55 on Hwy 71...at 4:30 in the morning.

These guys have a super hard on for giving people tickets.

When I get cancer... (I eat too much Mcdonalds and have been around too many smokers not to get cancer) It's gonna be guns a blazing in St. Landry parish. Who knows, the one who gets it may be being born today

Be careful when traveling through Porte Barre (190) - very active.

If going I-10, over the Atchafalaya - State Troopers are generally on the side of the road using radar or laser.

I-49 N - be careful when approaching the town Washington. They will write a ticket for 2 mph over the PSL.

They are notorious for this. I always go 5 mph below the limit through there.

goodness! 2 mph over? I thought all tickets had to be 5 or more to give a speedometer calibration error buffer

I was given a speeding ticket outside of Washington for going 22mph over the speed limit.. My cruise control was set at the speed limit though. So sometimes it doesnt even matter if you are speeding or not for those dicks. Oh and dont try to fight it either. My ticket was mysteriously lost for 8 months after my court date in which I showed up for to fight but was told nothing could be done because they 'misplaced' my ticket. 2 years later I found out my license was suspended after it was found and they didnt feel the need to contact me.

Yeh they used to do that, but ticketed the wrong person and got in trouble for it. They're still dicks and try to pop people, but i think it's at least 5-7 over that they have to abide by.
