Well, that's not big news or anything. They haven't blits/stunted in the last two games.

I still wish they would tackle a little better. Not worried though.

Blitzing more won't solve the tacking problem.

Just makes it a little more legit coming from a player rather than a ranting message boarder.

And he also said no matter the scheme, they must work on fundamentals like tackling, running to the ball, and angles. Also said it will be a work in progress to improve those areas.

A little concerned.

Greer looked like a fool on one running play. He came hard on a corner blitz and the RB just jumped outside and blew by him.

I'm not gonna make excuses for crappy tackling, but IMO, I think this defense loses it's identity when it's not aggressive. That doesn't excuse the poor tackling, but I think tackling do suffer when we're "vanilla."

Players also don't give a shite in the preseason. Starters play not to get hurt.

I mean, we had the 4th ranked defense last year so I guess I can't complain too much but, honestly, why hasn't our complete inability to tackle anything with the football been addressed? It seems blatantly obvious to everyone else except the staff.

Greer is weak....I do not care want any stats say. The eye test is that he is one of the worst starting corner backs in the league..

It normally wouldn't bother me either but three of the games we lost last year were where the tackling was horrible, Baltimore, 1st game w/Atlanta and of course the Seahawks

most I just shake my head over, that got an audible Wow

Apparently you don't care what coaches, writers, or commentators say either.

Jabari Greer is quietly having his best camp in three seasons with the Saints. He’s jumped a number of routes during training camp and picked off some passes. Greer might be the Saints best defensive back. “Tracy Porter is the star because of what he did in the Super Bowl and NFC championship, but Greer is athletic and probably gets overshadowed by Porter at times. He’s got big time talent,” Bobby Hebert said.

Lol.

Greer is weak. Lol.

Greer is really, really, good. I consider him better than Porter (older, considered), but really, good.

Jabari Safari baby.

They need to figure a way they can be aggressive, but stop over pursuing.

Most consider him better than Porter.

Porter is fighting to recover from knee surgery....he doesn't look very good, got juked very badly tonight.

Feel more comfortable with Prob starting now...
