Things could be much worse

Although the news of JJ beginning his UFC career 2 weeks before the season is frustrating, just think how shitty this whole mess could have been. If Ware, Mingo and Montgomery were all suspended or worse, being dismissed from the team it could have destroyed our year completely! Buck up and get ready to kick some arse and roll to NOLA!

I agree. While it could be a lot better, it could be SO MUCH worse.
If this is the worst it gets, we'll be o.k.
(still a lot of info and punishments to be released though)

Could have also been alot worse if it happened during the season! We still have time to work new strategy all though I don't think it will change as much as some may think, thank god we have depth at QB finally and whether people think so or not we do have depth at WR they are just really young..

If this incident would've cost us Randle and select others that were mentioned, I'm not so sure that Troy Landry himself wouldn't be looking for Lowery to choot his punk arse

When somebody mentioned Reuben Randle and Keke Mingo early on in this thing, I almost had a stroke.

i think there is a chance this will work out for the better.
jj is great when you give him a long time to prepare, see bowl games and the first half vs unc last year.
he is pretty mediocre the rest of the games. giving the winner of jlee/mett the reigns for the season might not work out in our favor for the opener, but might be the best thing for the season.

I feel like it could work out for the better as well. Although I believe Lee should get his fair chance that he deserves, I'm very happy that Mett will get some PT because you know Les wouldn't let it happen otherwise. And yes, I almost shat my pants as well when I heard Mingo and Randle mentioned!

Thinking long term I'm very concerned with Landry. Really believe that him and Ware are possible future Heisman candidates. Hope he eventually returns to put on the P&G.

I definitely agree about Landry! Kid is a stud athlete, I remember watchin him in the under armour game and looking forward to seeing him play at LSU. Hopefully things work out for him, but there is a bright spot and that is we still have OBJ!

From an on field perspective, nothing changes IMO. JJ sucks anyway. Anyone catch the WVU replay tonight? He's terrible. I say put Mett in; 3 to play 3.
