Advocate article stated this guy routinely represents students for free. Is this going to violate some sort of NCAA regulation for receiving benefits?

He has routinely represented LSU football players pro bono since the 80's.....

Yep it's a violation that compliance just missed. It's amazing they can find irregularities in housing arrangements and phone calls, but not in information in public.

not only is this on a pro bono basis, but the entire university has the right to a lawyer, and no it doesn't violate the NCAA.

What about the other thousand times a player used a lawyer?
