The problem with those inverse ETFs that Baylor was touting is that they decay if the market moves too much in the upward direction. He's probably ok if he bought at 1220 right now but if the S&P moves up another 100, he's going to have trouble recouping without a dramatic turn in the other direction.

This thread needs to be remembered next time someone accuses us of being bullies.

This guy convinced some idiots that he knew something when it was obvious he didn't. He offered no facts or justification, but people still took his advice.

The worst part is that these guys always go off into the night, never to be seen again, if they are right, they gloat and call everyone else fools.

In his defense, I do believe he actually thought he had some insider knowledge/information of what was to come. He actually believed in his mind what he was being told was 100% going to happen.

Of course, as we all know, there's no such thing as a sure bet - especially in the shortRun - in the markets. And that's the reason he got so much criticism from many in this thread.

It's one thing to say..." I really think ____ is going to happen, but of course there's no way to know for sure."

It's a completely different animal when someone says "My guy tells me this stuff, he has never been wrong, I guarantee you this will happen. I WILL NOT be wrong. I will be laughing all the way to the bank because there is no doubt I am right and I can't be any clearer."

Most of them do believe they are right. This is no defense, it just means they are honest fools instead of charlatans. Often the former is more dangerous because they really do believe what they say.

I would suggest getting in large on SH,SDS
and URPIX. This bear market will be very choppy.

Today is a good opportunity to prepare for the the fall down to the 1000 level.

If you have a margin account you can also short
SPY and SSO to put the slippage in your favor.

Im told that we will be hitting the 1000 point mark in as few as 15 trading days.

If this happens and you are in one of the above it will be very profitable.

Good luck.

Bump.

Oh hell no.

I saw where Russian linked this thread in the other discussion, so I thought it would be funny to bump it up.

Apparently Baylor had to hock his PC so he can't post here anymore.

I wonder if his rich buddy could lend him some wifi time someday soon.

Man I reread this whole thread... I really feel bad for a few folks. I hope they didn't follow him off the cliff.
