Looking to the Outdoor board for some help with a gift. I need to get a gift for a fisherman from PA in the $50 range. I want it to be something unique to LA if possible. He mainly fly fishes and fishes Spring Creek and Fisherman’s paradise in central PA. From what I understand it’s typically trout that’s caught up there. Any ideas?

Can't go wrong with some PFG...LSU branded, of course.

And the first Google results for "LSU Columbia PFG" are people bitching about PFG on TD.

How about getting him some custom flies done...LSU colors if you want something from the area. Our bass pro has a fly fishing department, might be a good place to start.

I was thinking along the same lines, but don't know enough about fishing to know where or what kind to purchase. I'll give a ride up to Outdoor World later on today to see what the salesman has to say. I didn't know if there was a famous local fly maker that anyone could direct me too.

Like to thank everyone for their help. I picked up a Columbia fishing shirt at the co-op by campus for under $40. Thanks a lot for the advice.
