Im just pumped to have sagna back. No offense to mertesacker, but I really don't like his skills going fowatd or his ability to get back quickly in case of a counter attack. Actually I was wondering why it seems he has been going foward more frequently over the past few games. Shouldn't our midfielders be attacking the goal, not our slowest cb?

Such a relief. Arteta as well.

@YoungGunsBlog Eisfeld should start #AFC career in the Reserves, but will train with the first-team full time. Exciting, central play-maker.

Wooo optimism!

I don't really harbor any ill-will toward hhhhhkhkkhkhkhkhkhkkkleb

he was too disposable to have any latent feelings of contempt crop up

Whole premise of that article is odd. Those two guys left solid clubs when they came to Arsenal. From Arsenal, they went to bigger (or at least more ready to currently challenge) clubs. What makes Nasri's exit so painful is the specifics of how it went down. Didn't really feel that about Hleb and I certainly don't think generally its harmful for players to move to bigger clubs.
I'd take a flyer on Hleb right now to be honest. Give him a modest change and 4-5 months to help us out. We could use another CAM/flank player.

Arsenal confirm that Jackie Boy has a stress fracture. They haven't ruled him out for the season, but it doesn't sound good at all.

Sucks for the guy. At this point you have to start worrying that he might never full fill his potential.

I'm going on an Internet sabbatical beginning a few minutes before the match today--gonna DVR it and watch much later tonight. Meaning: Foobud: don't tweet at me lest I know exactly what you're talking about based on the gmail preview snippet

A little early for that. Losing a full year (which it seems like will be the case) does really suck though and certainly can't help. Wenger bitched about him being in the "red zone" of injuries, but he's the one that put him there.

I agree it's early, but you have to worry about it becoming chronic.

This season has quickly digressed back into "I'm not sure Arsene will be here next year" territory. This team just doesn't have it.

As always, we're really hitting our anti-stride to herald the month of February

We will probably get an away goal and draw at AC Milan and think "hey we might turn it around". Only to get our dreams shattered on the return leg.

Yakubu is out of the Blackburn match tomorrow....phew...

Sad day when you count the blessings of a Blackburn player's absence.

Also, this match is on ESPN2 tomorrow morning
