I'm afraid I'm not seeing what your trying to say.
I think because of the example, The saints =/= arsenal in terms of the same part of the name. the saints = gunners.
so take like.. chicago bears.
Chicago IS a good club. The bears are a good club.
Arsenal is a good club. The gunners are a good club.
At least that's how I would say it.
