This year the Red Sox's David Ortiz and Brewer's Prince Fielder get to pick their teams for the Home Run Derby at the All-Star Game. Here's who they picked...

TEAM ORTIZ
Boston Red Sox - Adrian Gonzalez
Toronto Blue Jays - Jose Bautista
New York Yankees - Robinson Cano

TEAM FIELDER
Milwaukee Brewers - Rickie Weeks
Los Angeles Dodgers - Matt Kemp
St. Louis Cardinals - Matt Holliday

I'm going with Ortiz's team. Too much power.

Another home run derby I won't be watching.

Fielder and Ortiz would be the only two I care about

I think it's smart. It's not a team competition, it's still an individual competition that's going to come down to the NL's best hitter vs. AL's best hitter, and he picked guys he knows he's better than.

Kemp is up there in homers, and Holliday is a perennial 30 HR guy.

FWIW, Peter Gammons says Rickie Weeks puts up on the most impressive BP show in all of baseball.

What this HR derby needed to really make me want to watch, is some Mike Stanton.
