A valid argument can be made that jlee given the opportunities last season outperformed jj, experience is comparable, from a leadership standpoint not a glaring difference between the two all things equal only thing jj trumphs jlee on is his ability to scramble.

You'd think the kid would have a tad of resentment built up, I'm sure many of us put in his shoes prob would.
Jlee has handeled himself like a class act since he has been here, I suppose there is no reason to beleve he would change now.

or Florida or Tenn.

IMHO, with Lee at QB:

LSU 41, Texas A&M 24 (W)
Arkansas 31, LSU 23 (W) But even if we lost, it doesnt change our record with either QB
LSU 43, Ole Miss 36 (W) weak secondary, would have exploited them
LSU 51, UL-Monroe 0 (W)
LSU 24, Alabama 21 (W) huge 3rd down conversion
Auburn 24, LSU 17 (?) hard to say. Lee did real well until he injured his throwing hand. We lost, so its a wash with either QB
LSU 32, McNeese St. 10 (W)
LSU 33, Florida 29 (W) only won because of him
LSU 16, Tennessee 14 (W) only won because of him
LSU 20, West Virginia 14 (W) JJ only had 75 yds passing
LSU 29, Mississippi St. 7 (W) defense carried the day for either QB
LSU 27, Vanderbilt 3 (W) defense won this one for either QB
LSU 30, North Carolina 24 (W) scout team defense

you're tired of seeing LSU and its QB in the national spotlight?

I don't think either one are great QBs...but i do find it amusing how all of a sudden Lee is the saving grace of LSU and we may have gone undefeated last year had he started.

I really expect JLee to do well if he gets in any games this season. There is no more pressure. 99% of the entire LSU fan base is either JJ or Mett. He's the forgotten commodity so he really should be able to get in and wreck shop.

As for how he's taking all the hype, I would have to imagine it being similar to being in the Twilight Zone.

Possibly.

And if the roles were reversed, JJ might have been called on to salvage any games like Ole Miss or A&M. So with either QB last yr, LSU has only 1 or 2 losses. JJ was on path for a 4 to 5 loss season, until someone woke up and called Lee's number.

They didn't use Lee against Arky and we see how that turned out 2 sacks, and 2 fumbles in the 4th qtr.

If Lee could "get in and wreck shop" he'd be starting.
