Not much of a farker either, but this thread intrigued me. What purpose are the farks for? Your entertainment or or are you going to use them on Pickett signs?
I mean Im all for bearing arms, I own somewhere around 12 guns. But this doesn't really sound like a gun control issue. It sounds like toy guns being painted to look like... Toy guns. Kids might not get shot if they're waving around a pink airsoft gun. I mean, if you must play this game, just buy the gun and spraypaint it black. But you have a child, and regardless of how bad you hate California, this is kind of a silly pastime for an adult. I mean, you are calling this guy a butt muncher and a pecker brain; kinda hard to take that seriously. But so as not to completely shite on your parade, here is the only thing I got. Its with a shitty iPhone app:

cajunofficer, I had a chance to read this thread, and I'm gonna fark the mofo sooner or later.

But to add to your points...

I play Airsoft with my teenage son and his friends. Agree that it's a way to bond with him, which is damn hard to do when they're almost 18. I've found the guys that play are extremely organized, safe, polite and actually provide a kind of discipline and role model at a level I don't apparently do (i.e. they're "cooler", so he'll listen to them more!). But it's been great fun.

I read that bill and I can't see the "entire exterior surface" part. That would suck. Having said that, and I wish the world didn't suck so much that things like this have to come up, but I can see the point of view of the cops. Know some here and they'll tell you it's impossible to tell the difference, and I agree. Can only imagine how it is out there. When you paint the tips black, or "camo" it, it looks like a real gun. And, believe me, the guns we play with will put some serious hurt on you, particularly in the no FPS limit games.

Would seem like if people quit painting the orange tips black that would at least be a compromise.

They come with an orange tip. But the hardcore types don't think that's cool, so they paint them. If that was banned, then to me, it'd be very evident they are Airsoft guns. If not, you seriously can't tell the difference between the high end guns and the real counter parts.
