I think if the bats are gonna stay the same it would be a great idea. 10-15 ft would work.

homeruns would still be down from previous years, pitchers would be safer with the new bats. I'm not seeing the problem.

I doubt it would ever happen, but it's actually not a bad idea.

Let's go 285 down the lines, 315 in the power alleys and 365 straight center.

Think about the difference 10 feet would have made for Nola's HR total alone.

I'm thinking some hills in the outfield to add a little entertainment

teams have different dimensions all over the country. With the new bats, some schools will start doing this to bring the homerun back into the game. And it won't hurt recruiting hitters

Minute Maid has a hill in center field. Not in the middle but against the wall.

There's a flagpole in play on that hill as well.

Bats changed the game this year.

According to Ronnie Rantz studies/tests were done with new bats and a ball that traveled 400 feet last year only went 375 this year.

Sounds about right based on what I saw at the Box this year. It was evident from the very first game the bats were dead.

Moving in the fences is pretty funny!
