Save 15 Cents Per Gallon on Gas

for the link, but I usually buy my gas from Sam's where it is already 15 cents cheaper per gallon.

Here in FL Sam's is typically 2-3 cents per gallon less than competitors. Not enough to warrant making the trip if its out of the way.

It's not worth making the trip for me, but I definitely fill up when I am near Sam's.

I've been meaning to take advantage of some free savings; which do think is better deal? $.15 off a gallon from Exxon/Mobil or 5% from Shell, or do I just get both to bases cover my bases when traveling? Obviously, gas needs to be at at least $3.00/gallon for the 5% to equal $.15, but I have a feeling if gas ever comes down below that, they will not offer $.15 anymore? Any thoughts/experiences with changes in terms by either or the two?

Purchases in New Jersey and Louisiana are not eligible for the cents off per gallon promotion. In those states, ExxonMobil will offer a $20 ExxonMobil gift card for new Speedpass online enrollments between May 2 and June 30, 2011; accounts must be activated by July 31, 2011.

I just shop at Kroger, where I get $.10/gallon off at Shell for every $100 I spend. It works all the time, you get the savings for every $100, whether you've used the last one or not.

So the 5% shell card it is... Unless anybody knows of any other better deals out there in Louisiana. No thanks to Winn Dixie though.

I use the Kroger card and my Shell card. BOOM.
10 cents/gallon off the front end with Kroger and another 5% on the entire purchase with Shell MasterCard.
Success.
