2) They gave up a Ricky Williams level of draft picks to get him

Damn they swapped 1st, gave up 2nd & 4th this year and 1st and 4th next year for Julio.

They didn't get better. They gave up a shot ton for a guy that will touch it 3-5 times a game.

Atlanta needs help on defense. They failed to address that need and gave up a ton of picks that could have been used to fill the holes on defense. Jones is undoubtedly an impact player and can contribute immediately. I'm just not sure that was what Atlanta needed considering their main competition in the division (the Saints).
