I didn't catch the exact question but sounded like they were questioning Belli playing time... Did anybody catch the question?

Monty's response was trust...something about he was in the gym last night shooting. He said something about working hard and you will get the PT.

This isn't the JV team at buttfrick high, it's the playoffs vs the Lakers. We can't afford to be playing four on five out there.

Awful mentality if you refuse to take the guy out for playing like absolute trash.

You have to say when he is hot he can hit anything. Have to admit that.

Before the part about the gym, he talked about how Belli doesn't do a whole lot of things great but works hard. Pretty much said he sucks but he tries hard.

It sounded real similar to the way Les Miles defends Jordan Jefferson IMO, and we know how well that goes over on these boards.

fwiw I'm not a hater of Bellinelli or Jefferson, just stating my opinion.

The bigger thing is we want a SG on the floor, but they also have to guard Artest. He is the biggest out of him, Jack, and Green.

Artest is 6'7 and 260 lbs.

I ain't going to hate on Monty for it because it is just a tough situation.

Give Pondexter a shot. At worst he's gonna be just as bad as Belly.

At best he'll bring some energy and not get shitted on by Artest

QPon would get shite on by Artest too but he has less upside on the offensive end. Yes Belinelli should be playing less but we don't have any decent solution behind him, best we can do is hope he starts hitting some shots.
