Being the #1 overall pick has more to do with the needs of the team picking first than with who is the best player in the draft. Peterson may be the best football player available and still not go #1.

2 things.
1) PP7 is awesome, however, I've heard many draft analyst talk about him needing to work on his zone coverage since he's so accustomed to playing physical, man up coverage.
2) I understand that "germans" means it's already been posted, talked about, etc.... but what's the tie in with that reference?

The part from Animal House where Bluto talks about the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor...has become a smartass reference meaning old news, ancient history, been covered etc. The reference is so old and tired it too has become Germans itself.

hes been number 1 on about everybodys player ratings that matter for a few months, but getting drafted #1 is not about being rated number 1 it is a combination of what position you play and how high you are rated.
