J5, if you'd like another project, i have a deck and some shelving that could use a stain.

Just name the time, sir. If you want to go, I'm going to roll out to Bodcau at some point this weekend. I may try to recruit CB as well.

But, I know you've got several home improvements in the fire already. Ha.

Well, I don't do decks, but the conversion to fully auto on the gun is pretty easy, so I can eliminate termites.

I know a guy that used to go unleash hell then slip the auto sear in his shoe in case there was anyone waiting for him outside the woods

If I were to do it - theoretically - I would make sure it was in a remote area... theoretically.

Real talk, you can't even own the FA sear can you?

you can most certainly buy a full auto trigger group as those parts are not considered the weapon as far as ATF is concerned. It is receiver that must be registered.

I thought it was like have the sbr upper and a complete lower in the same house. It shows intent to build an NFA item. I really don't know much about this though.

Exactly right. Nothing wrong with buying the SBR upper but if you have a lower in the house that is a no no. Best to wait till the lower paper work goes through before buying the upper. Same thing with fire control groups. If you own a semi and have a full auto fire control group in the house they could get you on intent. Same thing goes for stocks and pistols. I have thought long and hard about buying a AR stock mount for my mac-10 but it would become a sbr as soon as I bolted it up.

excuse my ignorance but how does a trigger change from semi to full auto change a weapon in to a shor barreled rifle? Or am I mixing issues here.

Ha - going out tomorrow. Bought my weight in cheap steel-cased 7.62. I think it was like $4.99 for a box of 20.
