According to the article below, the two point guards that Trent Johnson were recruiting decided
against coming to LSU. Is the season already over? Or is there still hope?

There's hope if we can still sign someone else, but this isn't good at all. I was really banking on Talley

if trent can develope stringer and turner into taking a step up from last year, something he's not done at lsu yet, then we'll be good with o'bryant coming in.

There is always hope. But the light at the end of the tunnel is getting dimmer and dimmer very quickly!

Wow! Is this enough proof that we need a real coach in Tiger country for basketball if we want to be serious about winning a championship? TJ is good but not enough to stick around BR.

TJ can not recruit (Sorry but he can not, he gets a lucky one every now and then) and hold onto talent long enough to get them to come here. We lost two recruits that would have been great to have on a roster that was starting to look decent. It is kind of a final straw for him when we lost that recruit.

TJ is not a good coach!! Period!

I watched as many games as I could on GZ and, as a former bball player and coach, there are plenty of WTF moments he was a part of. You can only blame the players for so long before you have to blame coaching. Poor execution on play calling. I have never seen a team struggle with the press more than LSU did this season. All teams had to do was press and switch to a zone defense and we looked lost. TJ could not set up and offense to break either. No press break and no zone offense! It was horrible!

Isn't Nebraska one of three BCS-AQ Schools to have never won an actual NCAA Tournament Basketball Game?

We lost a recruit to them?

To put it mildly, that sucks.

This!

If we are losing recruits to Kentucky, I would be able to handle that even if it sucks pretty badly! However, losing them to crappy basketball schools like Nebraska?? WOW!

Yes. The basketball season will be over once these guys sign with other schools. The current team, although they play hard, is not a sec caliber team.

My decision to dump season tickets last season is looking better and better with each passing day. Wish it wasn't though.

Sad to see bottom feeders in the sec and other conference surpass us.

What should be annoying to everyone is seeing what Anthony Randolph is putting together at Alabama.

We had him & passed on him. For Trent.

Thanks, Joe Alleva.

Is anybody really shocked at this news? Trent Johnson is basketball's version of Curley Hallman.
