Last weekend I consumed lots of Covington Stawberry Ale while doing yard work. I had it on tap before, but really enjoyed it in bottles (which just came out recently). My favorite brew at the moment.

Cool, didn't realize it was in bottles now.

I had one for the first time (on tap) two Sundays ago at the place that use to be called Club Decatur. Pretty tasty maybe better than Abita but I would have to try more.

Had it last weekend, from the bottle (well poured out of the bottle into a glass). It was good, better than the Abita version, but I still rank the old Pete's Strawberry Blonde as my favorite of the strawberry beers.

I too like it better than Abita and also more than Petes. Will it be around much longer or same season as Abita?

IMHO it tastes like strawberry ice cream. To sweet for my liking.

BUMP

Any idea on where I can pick this up in BR? Didn't see it @ Matherne's on Bluebonnet this past weekend.

Is there anywhere in Lafayette I can get it? I saw they have the cajun bock and ponchartrain at Ablertsons but no strawberry.

Had it at Albertson's on Burbank/Bluebonnet

It's on tap year-round. I'm curious to see if they will bottle it all year. I'd hope for at least spring/summer
