I am going to get my boat from cocodrie and feel like taking the wife freshwater fishing. I was thinking des allemands And launching at the launch off highway 90. Anyone having any luck there or have any recommendations on where we should fish. Thanks in advance

We did this last week and fished the Gulf Canals.....ended up catching 1 bass, and 5 perch. Was pretty windy, so this week may be a little better. We ended up getting stopped by Wildlife and Fisheries and said our report was pretty much the same story they got from everyone they stopped.

Looks like it may be a little windy tomorrow, so Catouatche may not be your best bet.

I'm wishing I could get out to Gibson, but it's not looking like it.

I'll probably be fishing the north side of the Spillway or Lake Verrett tomorrow.

fish it all the time. better place to launch and the canals leading to the lake do not get as much pressure from fishermen.

Caught some nice perch and a few bass. We had a great time on the water. The grass was pretty bad though. I plan on exporing Bayou segnette a little more today.
