1 Quart Jambalaya cooking on the stove.

Yep. 3 cups of water to 1.5 rice. 1.5 lbs pork temple, 1 large sausage link, 1 large onion.
Son (17) tells me he wants a Jam tonight. Well i'm going out. The wife is away for the weekend so i'm going play. So i'm cooking him one. We shall see.
I post pics when its done. Smallest i've ever cooked.
Here it is. Came out a little light colored but its good. I have a teaspoon in it to judge its size.

Where do you get your meat from? I can't find pork temple anywhere in BR

I get the temple meat out here in Gonzales. Lamandola's, Murray's, DeLaune's all have it out here. I couldn't say where or if its sold in BR. Maybe Ralph's ?
