Need a little help here. I am boiling some crawfish for my wife (30th b day)! I usually help my buddy do one every year in houston but this is my first solo production. Somebody give me a sure fire recipe that will knock their socks off! I am doing one sack. Next week I am doing 2 sacks for my uncle. So fellas lead me to the promise land. Lol! My plans are to boil corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and sausage(smoke chicken sausage)!

Search is your friend.
Anything worth doing is worth doing right. Take the time to read through the threads in the search above, gleen any tips and tricks you want to use, apply that knowledge and boil away.
The only way to get good is to practice. I'm not sure there is a "sure fire recipe". Every body likes to do it their own way. Start with what you know from helping your buddy, try a few things from the search and by next season, you'll be good to go.
If you want to make damn certain they are great for your wife's boil, pay someone to boil them for you.

And then the lord came to the masses and bestowed upon them a search function so they may never have to ask redundant questions again.

There are a couple threads out there already. No point in repeating what has already been send. The topic titles are "Crawfish Boil" and "How do you boil crawfish" look there for tips and "recipes"

@ ty I am working off of my phone so I don't have all the full site. Sorry about that! Lol!

In addition to checking out the recipes in other threads, you may want to cook half the sack, then the other half. I did this the first time I boiled and was able to tweak the recipe and technique for the second batch.
Even now, when I have two sacks, I do 1/2, 1, 1/2. I generally don't have to tweak it anymore but I have the flexibility to do so, if needed.
It takes a little longer but usually works well with how people show up and leave my crawfish boils.

If people leave your crawfish boils, you're doing it wrong.
I kid, I kid.
