Hell, just slip through his gate and get on the dock. Chance are he won't see you...for a while.

______ lakes
Indian Lakes. Have a friend that fishes a lot whose uncle lives out there. They fish out there in his boat some and do pretty well.
Same friend lives on the bayou by ULM and we always catch a fish or two fishing by his sea-wall and usually work our way down to the part where the road/land bridge separates the skiing part from the side that his house is on. We usually throw a spinner and jig the cypresses. Always get a bite or two but I don't think we've ever caught more than 2 in the hour or two that we fish at a time back there.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We ended up going to Cheniere. Decent day. A little slow. Almost had a heart attack. There was a fallen tree close to the bank that my son was fishing near and kept getting his spiiner hung on it. I took his rod and dragged it a few feet closer (as close as I could). It still was a little rooted in the ground, so I stuck my hand in the water to grab the root against my better judgment and remembering a thread on the ot about fishing and snakes. Well, I grab the root and give it a few good yanks and pull the root up to drag it a few feet out of the water when I see a moccasin (GDCK Snake) six inches from my hand that had the draw on me all day long. The big man was watching out for me on that one. I could have won the olymic high jump when I saw that dude.

I had a buddy that lived in that ______ lakes subdivision in W. Monroe out btw Well rd and Thomas rd
This is NOT Indian Lakes.
There is no subdivision between Wells and Thomas that has lakes. Parkwood II is off Wells Road but as far as I know has no lakes. The one you are thinking of must be Westlakes which is a little past Wells Road. I live there and there are always some rednecks parked on the side of the road trying to catch fish out of the pond but I have never seen them catch one.
