I like sportsmansguide but sometimes you can catch it on sale at BPS, or Cabelas.

Cheaper than dirt is always a good place to start. Midway USA is another good one.

ammo man

I have yet to use them, but they seem to have great prices, and the price you see is what you pay. I have heard to be aware with sites such as cheaper than dirt that they may charge you "hazardous material shipping fees"

I will add Grafs

www.grafs.com

Price per box may be a little more than some places but their shipping is free so take that into consideration. I have bought 500rnds of .223 and four boxes of .45-70 leverevolutions from them. Arrived in less than 5 days.

I like cheaperthandirt. I will say this though, I wish they would stop shipping mags in plastic envelopes. Something makes me uneasy about the FedEx guy picking up my package and going "hmm these must go in a "machine gun".

My fed ex guy will leave my ammo on my doorstep. Nothing like coming home and seeing a box marked Cal .223 small arms ammunition

Good to know, I didn't know if it was Cheaper than Dirt or some other sites. Was told to watch out for high shipping fees.

If anything I probably dont have to worry about the FedEx guy breaking in and robbing me, well at least not while I'm home. That's what I dont like about it. You make someone you dont know aware that you have potentially valuable/expensive weapons in the house.

CTD is usually pretty good.

If they don't have the best prices or are out of stock, AmmunitiontoGo has good deals.

Be careful with cheap ammo though. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

I typically use CTD but it really depends on who has the best deals at the time and how many rounds you're willing to buy.

I found a website that users upload ammo information from various stores and websites. It's basically an enormous spread sheet that will allow you to select the caliber, and sort fields according to your preferences. All you have to do is click on the column that you wish to sort and it will sort it accordingly.

I typically use the last column "CPR", or 'cost per round'. Click on the column and it will sort the CPR, which includes the shipping rates, right here.
