Well, FSU HC > LSU OC

pretty much sums it up. His issues with Miles were just lagniappe. All that said, I do agree with you. Jimbo seems to be doing a nice job at Florida State.

He went to Florida State because he was given the head coach in waiting title and it was in his contract to be the HC by this season. Not really sure that is LSU just letting him go, but to each his own if you just want to complain for the sake of it.

You don't think UF and Miami having coaching changes have something to do with his success recruiting this year?

I think Jimbo waited a long time to be a head coach and he expected some autonomy from Miles. But Miles was an offensive guy too.

Two cooks, one kitchen.

Same thing with Gary. Hopefully, the fact that Les and Krags are friends will allow then to work well together.

FWIW, I had to look up lagniappe. Good word choice.

He's been the head coach there the past 3 years (ask FSU fans).

He's 26-14 with an immense amount of talent surrounding him.

That's nothing to write home about.

Yes it helped, but a good bit of our class was already committed. I know it helped with Jernigan,Benjamin,Waisome. Wilder was committed to FSU before Urban left.

Jimbo had a great year recruiting......also benefitted from UM and UF having coaching changes.

I wish him well and hope they start winning again to take additional talent from UF, UGA and Bama in the panhandle.

He did what was best for him and it was a great move.

Or LSU losing to the mighty Zooker in 2003, scoring 0 offensive points.

The list is long..

Jimbo was not the head coach the past 3yrs....As HCIW Jimbo was 4th or 5th in the chain of command. The only thing Jimbo had control over was the Offense and some recruiting. When Jimbo took over he hired his staff and made a whole bunch of changes that Bowden wouldn't allow while he was HCIW.

Wrong. Not even figuratively. Bobby ruled the roost and surrounded himself with his staff of incompetent buddies.

Your HCIW was your 4th or 5th in command?

Come one man, tell us some more lies.

WTF. He's been HC for one season and won his division. I bet FSU fans enjoy the new direction under Fisher. Bowden was getting geriatric. I hope FSU can continue this trend and get recruits away from the Gators.
