...I need to get some suggestions for a good, fairly-priced dinner in New Orleans for a visit in March. (I say fairly-priced because I'll be dining with a couple that won't spend an outrageous amount on a meal...) Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Location? What does "fairly priced" mean?
Look Muriel's prices. There's a fixed price meal there, usually. I think Muriel's is very reasonable, but what's reasonable to me may not be your friend.

There are "fairly priced" places up and down Magazine. I'd stay away from the quarter if you want value.
